Meeting Title:

Relief Valve Reliability Inspection / Test Interval Optimization
Meeting Description:
This presentation will cover the overall goals and objectives of a relief device reliability program. A disciplined approach to detecting and resolving relief device issues is emphasized. A method to track and evaluate relief device reliability and to optimize the inspection and test interval will be discussed. Optimization of the relief device interval must account for the potential human factor or system errors which can exceed the mechanical un-availability of a particular device. The factors that affect relieve valve reliability and their impact on inspection intervals will be discussed.
